D. Sarah Young

Sarah Young is an associate in the firm’s litigation section. Sarah is a litigator with experience in insurance defense, criminal defense, local government law, and general civil litigation (business, contractual, motor vehicle collisions, etc.).

Prior to joining Martin Snow, LLP, Sarah was an Associate Trial Attorney with Farmers Insurance where she practiced insurance defense. Prior to working for Farmers Insurance, she practiced general litigation (insurance defense, business litigation, criminal defense, local government law, and other litigation matters) as well as criminal law in her capacities as an Associate Attorney and as an Assistant District Attorney. In addition, Sarah was a staff attorney for the Honorable David L. Mincey, III gaining experience in civil, criminal, and domestic matters.

Sarah graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science (Pre-Law Focus) in 2015. She then graduated Mercer University School of Law in 2018. While in law school she competed on three mock trial teams, served on the board of the Student Bar Association, became co-chair of the mock trial tryouts, and was a member of AWLS (Association of Women Law Students). Upon graduating, she was also inducted as a member into the Order of Barristers. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Macon Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division, Macon Young Lawyers Division, the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, and is a graduate of the Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy, Class of 2022. She also teaches at Mercer University School of Law as an adjunct professor in their Advanced Writing Certificate Program.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys attending concerts with her husband, dinner nights with friends, reading, video games, and spoiling her two dogs- Ruthie and Winnie.
