The seller should be cautioned about the availability of funds after the deposit of our Trust Account check into their checking account. Banks, as a custom, put a hold on the new deposit, anywhere from two to ten business days. We suggest you contact your bank regarding their particular policy.
Should the seller elect, the firm can wire the funds after the closing instead of issuing a Trust Account check. Seller will be responsible for the process and the successful completion.
If you need funds available immediately to apply on a new home purchase, we suggest you have us wire the funds. However, we recommend you contact the law firm closing your new purchase to find out their requirements.
