Early Signing / Mail Away
It is always best to have all parties to the sale present at the closing. However, in the event that is not possible, the absent party may consider coming in to do an “early signing.” There is no extra charge for this service. You simply would schedule a time to sign your paperwork in advance of the actual closing, if your paperwork can be made available. The documents are then held in escrow until the actual closing date.
If the buyer or seller elects to do a “mail away,” please contact this firm immediately. If the buyer or seller is doing a “mail away,” they will need to enlist the services of a witness and notary public at the location where the documents are signed. Again, we will need to have advance notice in order to accommodate this request.
