Thomas Peter Allen III
Pete Allen is a partner in the firm’s litigation section and pursues a broad-based general practice touching upon many different areas of law. Since beginning his practice, Pete has handled various personal injury cases and other matters under the broad rubric of insurance defense, as well as contested cases arising in the areas of business, probate, and property law. He has also taken a number of these cases through trial and/or appeal, and has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Pete obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 1991 and earned the two-fold academic distinction of graduating summa cum laude and as a First Honor Graduate. He continued his studies at the University of Georgia earning his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1996 and his Master of Arts in History in 1998, the latter coming after he began full-time employment with the firm. Pete is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Macon Bar Association, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. He is a Master in the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court and a 2005 graduate of Leadership Macon. He has for several years proudly served as the attorney coach for the Middle Georgia Christian Home School Association’s high school mock trial team.
